Our pricing starts at £80 per hour, for a basic session with 2 microphones. There is a 20% surcharge for filming rights - get in touch for details.

Unfortunately there is no parking available, and any vehicles attempting to park onsite will be turned away, with the nearest local parking over 20 minutes walk away - therefore we strongly advise all visitors to travel by public transport, cycle or taxi.

We advise bring a USB drive to take your finished recordings with you. If you have chosen our editing services, you will need to bring any jingles along with you as a WAV or mp3 files.

There is a cafe onsite open from 9am - 4pm - for sessions outside these times you may wish to bring your own refreshments.

You are welcome to drink non-alcholic drinks in the studio, but the consumption of food, alcohol, or tobacco or vaping products are not permitted. The onsite cafe is very close should you require any additional refreshments.

We have facilities for up to 4 microphones - 2 are included as standard. If you need a 3rd or 4th microphone, please book these as add-ons.

We provide a basic editing service for £60 - this is for an hour of time at the editing suite, and is more than enough time for a simple audio cleanup, removal of unwanted sections, and the addition of any jingles. If you’re looking to produce the next Radiolab, then a more involved editing process will be required! Please get in touch via bookings@lightship95.com if you have any questions.

Unfortunately not, no refunds are available for missed sessions or cancellations requests within 48 hours of the session.
